Roof maintenance · Ida-Virumaa
We remove moss, algae and lichen at the root with soft washing, which doesn't strip the protective layer off your roofing. The result lasts 2–4 years.
A green roof isn't only a looks problem. Moss works like a sponge, holding moisture against the roofing — and that's what shortens a roof's life.
Moss keeps the roofing permanently damp. Moisture accelerates wear and invites winter frost damage.
Moss roots work into roof tiles and bitumen shingle, loosening the surface year after year.
Loose moss washes into the gutters, blocks the system, and sends water somewhere it shouldn't go.
Replacing a roof costs many times what maintaining it does. Clearing moss on time is the cheapest part of a roof's life.
Pressure knocks the moss off the top, but takes the protective granules off bitumen shingle and the surface layer off concrete tile with it. The roof looks good for a week, then ages faster than it did before. We never use pressure on a roof.
We check the roofing type, the pitch, how far the moss has spread, and the state of the gutters. That's what the quote is built on.
We cover sensitive areas and planting, and pre-wet surfaces so the solution spreads evenly.
We apply the solution at low pressure, moving safely across the roof. It kills moss, algae and lichen at the root.
We let the solution work, then rinse under control where the roofing needs it. Rain and UV carry the dead growth away over the following months.
We check and clear the gutters so the loosened material doesn't block the system.
On request we apply a protective treatment that slows the moss coming back. On heavily shaded north-facing slopes it pays for itself.
Soft washing suits virtually any roofing material, because it doesn't rely on pressure.

Our core area is Narva, Narva-Jõesuu, Sillamäe, Jõhvi, Kohtla-Järve, Ahtme, Kiviõli and Toila — all of Ida-Virumaa. For larger jobs we travel elsewhere in Estonia too, including Tallinn and Tartu.
It depends on the roof area, the roofing type, the pitch and access. We quote per m² after a short inspection. Send a photo or your roof measurements and we'll send an exact price within 24 hours — free and with no obligation.
In the short term yes, in the long term no. Pressure strips the protective granules off bitumen shingle and the surface layer off concrete tile, which shortens the roof's life by years and voids most manufacturer warranties. We never use pressure on a roof.
Usually 2–4 years, depending on the location and how shaded the roof is. Next to woodland, in deep shade or near the sea it can need doing more often. A preventive treatment extends it further.
Not immediately. The solution kills the moss at the root, and rain and UV carry the dead growth away gradually over the following months. The roof clears more slowly than with pressure washing, but the result lasts years and the roofing stays intact.
Spring and summer are the easiest, but the work can be done through any frost-free part of the season. A clean before winter stops moss blocking the gutters and moisture causing frost damage.
Yes. Apartment associations and commercial buildings are our core clients. For larger properties we set up a maintenance contract, where the roof, gutters and façade run on a set schedule.
We use products intended for roofing surfaces and safe around people and customers. Planting and sensitive areas are covered before we start and rinsed down where needed.
